About Online Driver Improvement Clinics
There are many Reasons for Attending a Driver Improvement Course. Make sure you know which one applies to you.
Upon successful completion of the online course, you may be eligible to receive up to five safe driving points.
An online driver improvement clinic will not meet the requirements of a commercial driver improvement clinic.
Final Course Exam
The driver improvement course can be taken online; however, the final exam must be taken at a centralized test site. The test may be taken only once per business day.
Prior to registering for the course, verify that a test site is located in your area. A list of test sites is located on the web site of each course provider. DMV does not maintain schedules for testing.
You will be required to show photo identification prior to taking the test. Open book testing is not allowed. Bobcam v6 release.exe download.
Acceptance by the Court
Your court may or may not accept the certificate of completion. It is your responsibility to determine if your court accepts online traffic schools.
Online Course Ineligibility
You may not take an online driver improvement course if:
- You are under age 20
- You were convicted of a traffic violation when you were under the age of 20
If either of these conditions apply, you are not eligible to take an online driver improvement course to satisfy a DMV requirement. Instead, you must satisfactorily complete a driver improvement clinic that provides classroom instruction.
